Eilin Ma Dalby
My name is Eilin, and I have been teaching yoga since 2011. I have completed several yoga teacher trainings, including RYS 200 and RYS 300, and am registered as E-RYT 500 and YACEP through Yoga Alliance. My trainings range from more dynamic to calmer yoga forms, with a main emphasis on Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin yoga, in addition to pregnancy and maternity yoga, children's yoga and restorative yoga. Today I primarily teach vinyasa and yin.
Besides the physical, I have always been interested in the more philosophical aspects of yoga, such as philosophy, pranayama and meditation. I have a bachelor's degree in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oslo, with a specialization in Chinese language, religion and history. My interest in Buddhism and Daoism is what first led me into yoga philosophy.
Since 2020, I have developed and led my own yoga teacher training courses. Outside Yogaskolen I also work as a Master Trainer for yoga instructors at SATS, where I help develop yoga concepts and training for instructors. In addition, I hold workshops and retreats, allowing me to teach in several places around the world.
My commitment to yoga is based on a personal experience of how much the practice can give. Sharing these tools with others continues to inspire me. In my classes, I emphasize technique and flow, and I believe joy is one of the most important foundations for a practice that can be carried with you over time.
